Crossfire plays all home games at Emricson Park, located off of South Street and practices at various locations in Woodstock.

Directions to Emricson Park

From Route 14 and Route 47, go north on Route 47 to Lake Street . Turn left on Lake and proceed to South Street (first stop sign). Turn left on South Street and proceed 1 mile to Emricson Park on the right. Field ‘B’ is nearest to this entrance while you should follow the road through the park toward the new pool for Field ‘A’.

The following soccer field specifications have been recommended by the Illinois Youth Soccer Association:

Field Sizes

U6: 15 to 20 x 20 to 30 Yards
U8: 20 to 30 x 40 to 50 Yards
U10: 40 to 50 x 70 to 80 Yards
U11-14: 65 x 110 Yards
U15+: 70 x 110 Yards

Surface

Flat surface and level with grass cut to no more than 2-1/2 inches high and with no dangerous defects such as exposed sprinkler heads.

Goals

For 10 and under, 6 to 7 feet high by 18 to 21 feet wide.

For U11 and up, within one inch of eight feet high by 24 feet wide with white, five-inch wide posts and cross bars, and secured net.

Markings

Five-inch-wide white lines delineating regulation field including restraint lines for spectators. The restraint lines shall be painted a different color and a minimum of 5 feet from the edge of the touch line.

Spectators & Players

Spectators and players shall be on opposite sides of the field.

Equipment

Regulation corner flags and posts and mid-field markers shall be used.
